Xbox 360 Ring of Death Repair - *Updates*

All right so what is going on with this site?

I mean, it hasn’t been uploaded in like months!

Well, as it turns out, I’ve actually been really sick and then really busy lately. But the part I want to talk about is the busy part. Sorry, I’m not one to cry about having the flu though, so you’ll have to feel bad for someone else ;p.

But more and more parents seem to be coming to me lately and asking if I can fix their Xbox 360, and honestly I don’t mind, and usually get some cookies or some pocket change for doing it. But I want to de-myth something (if you will), about new systems not getting the Ring of Death or Three red lights, whatever you want to call it.

The truth of the matter is, even the new systems are still receiving the red light errors. I admit, not as frequent, but almost just as bad. See, the new updated systems still haven’t cracked the code to this overheating problem. Simply put, the design of the system doesn’t allow good airflow, and so rather than cool down the system, it just heats it up. And when it heats up, it melts things and bends them out of place.

Now the solution is simple, and the reviewed guides on this site can fix the problem tonight, and get you or your kids back to playing call of duty tonight.

Okay, so with that load off my chest. The next thing is about the updates i’m planning on making to the website. Lately I’ve received additional emails about certain programs, that weren’t discussed in the reviews, so I will be going back and personally running through each review and adding a lot more detail so you know what to expect. Especially adding videos of the process where I can.

Secondly, Jimmy Dean (Our Number 2 Top Pick) has recently updated and revamped his whole website. And I got to admit, for the price it’s far more impressive than any of the other guides we have here on Xbox Repairs. I will be doing a completely new and full review on his guide as time permits, as well as be moving him to our Number one pick. I will be removing the Chris Jones xbox repair guide as well as the 360 fix kit reviews, as I feel that both are not in the best interest of our supporters. Especially not when you can much better and more capable guides from Jimmy Dean at the same price.

Thirdly. I will be going more indepth about the process of receiving a lot of the different errors on the xbox and what you can do to prevent them or overcome them.

That’s all for now.

How You Could Avoid Wasting Your Money And Your Time, By Making One Simple Choice!

Guys, yesterday was one of the worst days of my life! Me and my friend Pete were playing Xbox 360 live, brand new copy of Madden and drinking a couple of beers.  And like many systems his age (2 days old). He got the 3 red lights.

Now, I’ve fixed my own Xbox 360 with guides before, and was all about fixing his system right there. But Pete wouldn’t have it, he was convinced that I would break the system or something worse.

So Pete looked it up, and sure enough, he didn’t have a warranty for his system and wasn’t looking to fork over $150 to get it shipped and fixed at Microsoft HQ. And hey can you blame the guy? It takes like 2-3 months and there’s so many horror stories on whether or not you get your system back in one piece.

So I pushed. And Pushed… For him to just let me fix it.

He wouldn’t have it. He just kept being a baby and fought it. Well being the headstrong guy I am, I told him I was fixing it, and he stomped off! Now remember I’ve done this more than once, so it took me like 42.8 minutes to fix his system (give or take a few milliseconds). But me and Pete wouldn’t stop arguing.

I said look…

I’ve done this hundreds of times for spare cash, you know I fixed our friend john’s xbox, so cool it. Let’s just turn it on and drink some more beer till we can’t feel feelings anymore.

Well Pete calmed down a bit, and agreed. He asked me how much I paid to learn all of this; I told him how I spent $29.95 for it.

How I got…

For far less than what Microsoft wanted from me, and did it with absolutely no risk or wait time.

Pete was impressed, cried a little, and passed out after I kicked his ass in madden.

Was an all right night I guess.

It’s sad to see, but people are still making all the wrong decisions! They’re getting hit by the Xbox 360 Red Ring of death, and then pulling a towel method, only to make the Red Ring worse. I’d love if there was a way to let everyone know that their are all these Xbox 360 Red ring guides just sitting on this site, with full reviews, and a 100% money back guarantees.

There’s no better way to get your xbox 360 red ring fixed. Everyone needs to quit hoping the albanian guy knows what the hell he’s talking about when he post a no pic or video guide up on the forums.

Remember guys, if you liked the reviews, help us get the word out.

I’ve seen this question surfacing a lot lately on forums as well as places like yahoo answers. So I wanted to make a quick post just to update everyone, and let you guys know just what to look for.

But first, if you don’t know, the recent releases of the new Xboxs have been an attempt to cut down on the Ring of Death also known as the Xbox 360 Red Ring. And for those of you who have gotten the Falcon, you probably already have received the Ring of Death or are hoping it never shows up (knock on wood). Unfortunately the Falcon has been reported to still receive the deadly Ring of death.

So what makes the Jasper special? Simply put, less heat, therefore, hopefully no ring of death. They’ve shrunk the GPU and CPU down to 65nm, in the previous release of the Falcon, the GPU was full size, and they had only shrunken the CPU down to 65nm.

Needless to say, a few of our recent Xbox repairs were on the Falcon.

Figuring out whether or not you have a Jasper is quite simple.

You just need to see what the Amp rating is; you can find this located on the bottom left corner of the back plate, just above the “MADE IN CHINA w/ LEAD PAINT” sticker. For those looking to purchase one, it’s right next to the barcode, so you can see if you’re getting a known ring of death system or not.

If it says 12V - 14.2A:5V you are staring at a Falcon (RUN!)

If it says 12V - 12.1A:5V you are looking at a Jasper

I’d be curious to hear some reviews on the Jasper and whether or not anyone has received the Ring of Death aka Xbox 360 Red Ring. So Leave A Comment~
